The details, made clear

Your family’s stories belong to you.

This page explains the data used by the current Toldera experience and what additional information a future printed-book order needs.

What you add

We store your account details, book choices, original memories, uploaded files and family contributions so you can build and return to your book. Enabled purchases also need payment references and order status; printing needs a recipient name and delivery address.

Private by default

Account records and source files are stored in Supabase with access checks. Uploaded photos and documents are held in private Storage, not a public gallery. The example book and photographs on public pages are illustrations, not customer memories.

Inviting your family

A family invitation gives its recipient access to the assigned questions and related material. Keep invitation links with people you trust. The book owner reviews contributions before they enter the book and can revoke an invitation.

Services that help create the book

If AI analysis is enabled, selected text and files are sent to OpenAI for analysis. Enabled payments use Stripe Checkout; payment details are entered with Stripe. When printing becomes available, the approved print files and delivery information must be shared with the selected printing partner. The partner and its data handling must be identified before live print orders begin.

Session and language cookies

Toldera uses cookies to keep you signed in and remember the language you choose. Changing the language does not translate your original memories. Payment and sign-in providers may use their own cookies when you visit their services.

Questions, copies and deletion requests

Use the contact page for a privacy question or a request concerning your account, memories or files. Include your account email so ownership can be checked; never include your password. There is currently no self-service account deletion or full data export. Required contact details must be configured before live sales.
